Landscape Architects

Set up in 2000, Soltys Brewster has a developed team of experienced landscape consultants dealing with all aspect of landscape architecture, including the assessment, planning and design phases of development, restoration and regeneration projects for private, public and 3rd sector clients. Soltys Brewster employs a team of experienced chartered landscape architects and professional landscape designers, and landscape assessors, some with over 20 years of professional expertise, providing landscape consultancy services and environmental services to clients in Wales, England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Landscape services provided from offices in Cardiff South Wales, Belfast Northern Ireland and Reading England including all services offered by Chartered Landscape Architects (CMLI) and landscape practices registered with the Landscape Institute, our professional body. Our services include: site survey and feasibility assessment; through the landscape planning; landscape assessment; and the environmental impact assessment process, including landscape and visual assessment and landscape character assessment; through landscape design phases; stakeholder and public consultation; planning and construction phase detailed landscape design; landscape management; landscape restoration and regeneration. The practice specialises in major projects, with a portfolio of projects, including capital values up to £350 million.

Ecologists

Set up in 2006, Soltys Brewster Ecology, has developed a team of experienced Ecologists. Our in-house team has experience across all aspects of Ecological Consultancy, including ecological site assessment, protected species surveys, planning and ecological design of habitat mitigation & compensation projects for private, public and 3rd sector clients. We employ a team of experienced and professional ecologists. All our senior ecologists are Full members of the Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management (CIEEM) and meet the criteria as ‘suitably qualified’ under BREEAM and the Code for Sustainable Homes. Our experienced team provides ecology consultancy services and environmental assessment services to clients across the British Isles.

Ecology services provided from offices in Cardiff, Belfast and Reading, including all services offered by professional ecology consultant practices. Our services include: Extended Phase 1 Habitat Surveys; Phase 2 botanical surveys (using National Vegetation Classification NVC); protected species surveys including bats, great crested newts, reptiles, Badger, Otter, Dormouse, Water Vole and White-clawed Crayfish. Ecological surveys and advice is provided from the site feasibility stage through the planning process, including environmental impact assessment, habitat mitigation and compensation design and habitat management.
